It is important to know who runs the childcare center that your child will be attending so I wanted to tell you a little bit about myself, so that you can get a peek into who I am and why I started Drena’s Daycare.

Education
She has completed a certification in Child Development from Rose State College. She has also been studying this topic under the guidance of Mrs. Ashley Binns of Childcare Success Tools.

Experience
Over the last 30 years, my life has centered around children in various ways. Since 2003, She has been working as a child care provider and currently, the CEO/founder of Drena’s Daycare LLC, a licensed home-based daycare.

Personal
She is originally from Oklahoma City. As the oldest child, I was the Moma duck to my siblings. While I was studying, my son spent 5 years in a childcare facility, so I can emphasize with the parents who have to keep their child in the daycare. I have worked as a receptionist in the healthcare field. Today, I am a mother of two children with five grandchildren. I love spending time with my family doing almost any activity. I also enjoy reading books and gardening in my leisure time.

Our Mission
The mission for our families here at Drena’s Daycare is to be an advocate for healthy and happy family, her purpose is to enrich the lives of the children under her care –  together with a team of great and amazing teachers, who would provide your children with a safe, loving, structured, fun and stimulating learning environment that not only would instill a readiness for the school as well as the life and the society as a whole. One of her  important roles in this regard is to assist your child with the development of the proper skill-set that would transform them into life-long learners by offering a cohesive curriculum for the children of different age groups. Overall, we seek to integrate this learning into the curriculum while addressing the cognitive, creativity, social, as well as the language, physical, emotional, and social development of your child in a fun-filled environment.
